We carry out our mission of reaching the athletes for Christ today to influence the youth of our world tomorrow through our Right Track: Drug, Alcohol & Violence Prevention Program.
World-class athletes who have competed in Olympics, World Championships, Professionally, and in other elite venues partner with us to use the platform God has given them to encourage and educate up-and-coming young people about the importance of keeping their life on the right track. Our spokes-athletes include greats such as Carl Lewis, Joe DeLoach, Johnny “Lam” Jones, and many others. To date, we have held over 5000 Right Track assembly programs.
During the Olympics, star athletes of our LWFCI team host sports camps throughout the host city of the Olympic Games. These STARS for CHRIST include Harlem Globetrotters, former world class athletes and coaches, and individuals and groups with special skills. The athletes and camps are a great draw and are a lot of fun! After a time of sports and play, kids and youth have the chance to hear a testimony from an athlete and receive encouragement to stay on God’s track for life. They also receive a certificate to commemorate the event.
Right Track: Drug, Alcohol & Violence Prevention Programs are also run year-round in schools and churches world-wide through our partner churches and groups. Right Track Programs are a great outreach for kids and youth, and it gives the chance to continue to build community relationships, long after the Olympics are over.
