For sixteen days every four years, the eyes of the world focus on the city hosting the Olympic Games. Billions of people are glued to their TVs and the internet as they catch Olympic fever. Being aware of this tremendous platform – and because of our access to some of the world’s greatest athletes – we will once again seek to maximize this opportunity to be a global witness for Jesus Christ.
Having gained much experience from the past 7 Olympic Games where we’ve ministered with our outreach programs, we are aligning ourselves for the largest ministry opportunity ever. We believe that the Christian Olympians will once again proclaim Jesus as the true star of the summer.
This summer we will be in the UK as the XXX Games of the Olympiad kicks off in London. We will have our teams and programs organized and ready to reach out to 1000s. Each day between July 27 – August 14, we will have a variety of outreach events at locations all over the city. We will have televised events, an Evening With the Olympians, Stars for Christ events, Right Track Drug, Alcohol and Violence Prevention programs, music, drama, stories and so much more.
An outreach of this magnitude requires many willing, serving, giving hearts. Please pray for us and for all aspects of Bridging the Gap – 2012 UK Outreach. There are several ways you can join us.
